Juniors

At Strathmore Football Club, we’re proud to offer one of the strongest junior programs in the Essendon District Football League (EDFL).

We field teams for boys and girls from Under 8 to Under 16, plus our Junior Griffin program for 4 to 7-year-olds. Our focus is on developing football fundamentals, building skills and confidence, and fostering a lifelong love of the game.

As an AFL Victoria Women & Girls Chartered Club, we’re proud to offer dedicated girls’ teams from Under 10 through to senior women’s, providing opportunities for female players to grow and thrive in a fun, inclusive environment.

At Strathmore, football is about more than just the game – it’s about teamwork, friendship, and community. With a strong pathway from juniors through to senior football, every player feels part of something bigger – one club, one family, playing the game we love.
